This input cable allows you to connect a non-B&O audio device (such as a TV, iPod/iPad/iPhone, Mac/PC computer, MP3 player and more!) into your Bang and Olufsen BeoSound audio system using the "Tape" or "Aux In" socket.
Available in a choice of standard colours, plus a range of custom colours available to special order (please ask us for details if this option is of interest!).
Cable specifications:

- Ground conductor: 7 x 0.2mm Ultra Pure Silver-plated OFC
- Shielding: Aluminium screen to eliminate interference
- Fully gold-plated Neutrik/Rean 5-pin DIN plug with gold plated pins
- Neutrik/Rean minijack plug with gold-plated pins, satin black metal case
- Overall cable diameter: 3.5mm
- Low loss conductors make this cabling perfect for longer cable runs.
Our 5 pin DIN plugs will fit and work perfectly in the 7 pin DIN Aux sockets on newer B&O systems. The extra two pins are only used for remote control data to other B&O products, so they are spare in this application. Additionally, by using 5 pin DIN plugs it allows the cables to also fit pre-1986 B&O products (which used five pin DIN sockets).
Minijack is also known as a 3.5mm stereo jack (TRS) or 1/8" jack - this is the headphone connection found on most devices today (such as iPods or computers).
