When you use Beosound 9000 or Beosound 9000c without speakers connected (ie. via a TV or amplifier), it will ignore remote control commands. Simply add this adapter to the spare PL socket to restore full functionality!
This product comprises a DIN plug with circuitry enclosed inside to set Beosound 9000 or 9000c into Audio Option 1 (normal operation with remote control receiver enabled).
When the new 2024 model Beosound 9000c is used without Beolab speakers, please disconnect the Masterlink plug from the 9000c and the Beosound can then work in the same way as the original Beosound 9000 with this adapter and a cable to connect to a non-B&O audio system.
